COLSA is seeking qualified candidates for a Program/Project Management Analyst (Junior) to support a Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Program Management Activity (PMA) at Patuxent River, Maryland.

In this role, you will work on-site within the program office, gaining hands-on experience supporting Department of Defense acquisition programs. Collaborating with government personnel and industry partners, you will assist with program planning, financial and schedule tracking, meeting coordination, executive briefing development, and a variety of program management activities that contribute to the successful execution of defense acquisition efforts and the delivery of mission-critical naval aviation capabilities.

  • Support program managers and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) with program execution activities
  • Develop and maintain program schedules, action item trackers, and status reports
  • Prepare executive-level briefings, presentations, correspondence, and meeting materials
  • Coordinate meetings, working groups, technical reviews, and program reviews.
  • Track program milestones, deliverables, and customer action items
  • Assist with budget tracking, spend plan updates, and financial reporting activities
  • Maintain program documentation, records, databases, and SharePoint sites
  • Support data calls, taskers, and information requests from senior leadership
  • Prepare meeting agendas and capture meeting minutes
  • Assist with risk, issue, and decision tracking
  • Support program office operations and administrative activities as required

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in related discipline
  • 1-3 years of professional experience supporting program management, project management, business operations, acquisition, or administrative functions
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government programs
  • Familiarity with NAVAIR, Naval Aviation, or defense acquisition environments
  • Experience using SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, or project management tools
  • Military service or defense contractor experience

$77,000.00

$88,000.00

The salary range, if referenced, represents a good faith estimate. COLSA considers various factors when determining base salary offers, but not limited to, location, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
