Job Description:
The 48 Cyberspace Test Squadron (CTS) seeks a cybersecurity professional to support the 48 CTS Penetration Test team at Eglin AFB, FL. This position supports the 48 CTS penetration test team’s cybersecurity test planning, execution, and reporting. The 48 CTS conducts early system security analysis and cybersecurity assessments, reviews defined system security requirements, develops appropriate cyber test plans, and executes cyber test assessments for various systems ensuring they are developed, tested, deployed, operated, and maintained according to DoD acquisition and cybersecurity requirements and in accordance with system defined security test procedures outlined in the DoD Cybersecurity Test and Evaluation Guidebook.

We seek a professional to manage programs involving systems penetration testing, overseeing the entire process from start to finish, and handling all aspects in between. Position responsibilities can span from coordinating team efforts and managing project milestones to ensuring adherence to security protocols throughout the testing process. This position provides cybersecurity support directly to the 48th CTS at Eglin AFB, Florida. This support includes the following:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Manage, plan, and direct CVI, ACD, and CVPA, test teams.
· Provide oversight of cyber test events, including test planning, coordination, execution, data reduction, analysis, and reporting
· Track test requirements for the team and assist the team in meeting those requirements
· Serve as a member of multiple system security working groups
· Attend meetings with customers to help the test team prepare for events
· Share test results clearly with both technical and non-technical groups orally and in writing

Required Experience
Required Experience:
One of the following combinations is required:

- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a technical discipline and 3–5 years of applicable experience; OR
- Associate’s degree in a technical discipline and 7–9 years of applicable experience; OR
- High school diploma or equivalent and 10–13 years of applicable experience
- Experience in managing, planning, and directing diverse project teams
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good organization, decision-making, and verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively in small and large team settings to solve complex problems
- Travel up to 12 weeks per year
- US Citizenship: Must obtain at least an interim DoD Secret clearance before start date and obtain a final Top Secret (Single Scope Background Investigation) at the completion of the government process
- Must have or be able to obtain DOD 8570 IAT Level 3 certification (CASP, CISSP, ISSEP, etc.) within 6 months of hire, and maintain certification throughout employment
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Current DoD Top Secret (Single Scope Background Investigation) is highly desired
- Knowledge of the Cybersecurity Assess and Authorize (A&A) process through the RMF process
- Background with physical, environmental, and personnel security
- Background with Security Impact Analysis for Security-Related Changes
- Background with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide compliance assessment
- Background with CVI, CVPA, ACD, and AA penetration testing
- Knowledge of the mission and work environments of services activities to tailor security requirements to the needs of the activity and the requirements of DOD, USAF, and SAP security programs
- Knowledge of administrative procedures associated with classified material and specialized management acquisition and logistics support processes and methods used within DOD, USAF, and other agencies· Other desirable certifications include but not limited to CE|H, OSCP, GPEN penetration test certifications
- Knowledge of Special Access Program (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented information (SCI), collateral and unclassified directives and policies to provide authoritative interpretation and guidance to management officials and other security specialists for resolving issues involving conflicting security requirements
