Join our team as a Storage and Backup Administrator where you will help maintain and optimize storage infrastructure for our customers. We are looking for an experienced professional with expertise in NAS administration, enterprise backup solutions, and tape library management. This position is fully on-site.
- Administer and maintain NAS and SAN storage solutions.
- Manage enterprise-grade backup and recovery software (NetBackup experience preferred).
- Operate and maintain tape libraries, including Quantum and SpectraLogic systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot storage infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and maintain SAN/NAS architecture and backend SAN technologies (Fibre Channel, Brocade, eSAS, NVMEoF).
- Automate tasks using Python and Bash scripting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance storage and backup strategies.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices, company and agency policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation of plans, system configurations, and operational processes and procedures.

Required Experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1 to 8 years of related experience
- Experience in network-attached storage (NAS) administration
- Working knowledge of enterprise backup and recovery software.
- Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of tape libraries.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize storage environments.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility. Must be able to obtain and maintain a (CI) Scope Polygraph within 180 days of hire.
- CompTIA Security+ CE, ISC2 SSCP, or equivalent baseline security certification.
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NetBackup.
- Familiarity with DDN, IBM, NetApp, and SAN/NAS architecture.
- Professional Certification from a storage vendor (NCDA, NCIE)
- Expertise in backend SAN architectures, including Fibre Channel, Brocade, and eSAS.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, and/or Ansible for automation.
- Virtualization experience with VMWare or Nutanix.
- Active TS//SCI clearance with a current CI Scope Polygraph.
