This position is contingent upon funding with an expected start date in July 2025. This position is located in Tampa, FL at MacDill AFB.
COLSA is seeking a senior level MILDEC Planners to conduct direct liaison, integration and synchronization with Combatant Command (CCMD) staff, subordinate units, and associated joint, interagency, intergovernmental and multi-national (JIIM) partners. MILDEC Planner is expected to provide advice and analytical support for MILDEC operations, planning, and organizational assessment efforts. The MILDEC Planner will also provide advice to DoD leadership of MILDEC policy, doctrine, decisions, trends concepts, and studies.
· Provide advice and analytical support for MILDEC operations, planning, and organizational assessment efforts.
· Provide strategic and operational level planning support pertaining to CCMD contingency operations and strategic operations
· Provide advice to DoD leadership of MILDEC policy, doctrine, decisions, trends concepts, and studies.
· Provide senior staff advice and guidance regarding the establishment, management, and execution-level analysis for risk management relating to MILDEC operations.
· Support day-to-day office activities such as organizing and facilitating meetings, and managing systems/taskers.
· Analyze strategies, policies, doctrine, plans, capability gaps, and emerging trends to support decision-making related to the current and potential future threat environment.
· Coordinate and integrate CCMD plans with supporting/supported interagency partners.
· Provide advice on prioritization of strategy related programs.

Required Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of MILDEC strategic and/or operational planning experience with knowledge of Information Related Capabilities supporting influence operations.
- Possess knowledge with the Joint Operations Planning Process
- Possess superior oral and written communications skills, including an expert ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, deliver effective oral presentations, prepare assessments and other written products and represent CCMD in interagency meetings.
- Be capable of operating within a CCMD level headquarters as a strategic staff member with minimal guidance.
- Possess superior interpersonal, organizational, and management skills and an ability to conceptualize and assist as a team member complex analytic projects.
- Possess skills with Microsoft Office applications.
- Candidate must currently hold a valid DoD Top Secret security clearance with access to SCI, and be able to maintain this level of clearance throughout employment.
- One or more of the following Courses:
- Joint Military Deception Training Course (JMTC)
- Service Level MILDEC Course
- MILDEC Theater Operations Course (MDTOC)
- Position may require shift and weekend work as well as CONUS and OCONUS travel.
- Ability to work effectively within a task organized working group and expertise with planning, integrating, and coordinating with inter-agency and intelligence community entities. - Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possess recent knowledge of the CCMDs AOR and proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive planning efforts.
- Familiarity with HUMINT and Counter-Intelligence operations.
- Previous experience working with Special Access Programs
- Be a critical thinker; willing to listen, learn and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
