COLSA's Corporate Accounting Team is seeking an intern who is enthusiastic to learn about government contracting accounting and principles!
The intern selected will be exposed to the following areas of accounting administration:
- GAAP
- Payroll Regulations
- Government Cost Accounting Practices
The Job:
- Perform data entry and/or assemble reports
- Gather and sort material, develop and maintain files
- Learn and assists more senior staff with routine accounting tasks
- May be cross-trained to assist in other accounting efforts
- Gather data and compile reports in support of routine office operations

- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting, business administration or related field.
- Must be willing and able to relocate to Huntsville, AL at his/her own expense during duration of internship
- Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet and data programs
- US Citizenship required. Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check prior to start date

- Advanced Excel proficiency
