Supervises professional level personnel and supervises and collaborates with management in the preparation, negotiation, and administration of subcontracts.
• Acts in assistant management capacity to Corporate Subcontracts & Purchasing Manager *
• Oversees the amendment, extension, termination, and renegotiation of subcontracts. *
• Support Contract Purchasing System Reviews.
• Responsible for cost system setup and updates according to the contract *
• Responsible for oversight of subcontract invoices *
• Serves as a primary contact for customers and others *
• Responsible for issuance of subcontracts and consulting agreements *
• Responsible for preparing cost reports and verifying contract revenues *
• Responsible for subcontract administration and closeout according to Acquisition Regulations *
• Responsible for resolving contractual issues with the customer *
• Directs the work of lower level employees. *

Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience, including 5 years of supervisory experience
- Extensive knowledge of federal contracting and acquisition laws & regulations (FAR, etc)
- Strong proficiency in Deltek CostPoint specific to contract & procurement modules
- U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to successfully undergo a criminal background investigation prior to hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in related field
- Experience as a Contracts or Subcontracts Manager
- Experience in staff development and/or creation of staff training programs
