Yes

Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments. Familiar with the concepts and practices that support data collection and analysis, performance measurement, and routine reporting.  Must be within commuting distance of Stennis Space Center and willing/able to commute to SSC as needed.

Quality Assurance Liaison:

·        Meeting weekly with NSSC Functional Areas and work with Team on the following best practices.

·        Document communications

·        Workflow task mapping

·        Continuous improvement

·        Quality control errors

·        Attending Daily Stand Ups, Sprints and Tech Refinements.

·        Testing of Stories, Incidents, Requested Changes and Infrastructure Changes in the Service Now QA environment.

·        Producing and managing Test Plans, including all coordination with the Functional Testers, Developers and Product Owners.

·        Producing and working Defects during the test period.

·        Documenting Test Results and closing our Change Review Tasks.

Procurement Specialist:

·        Matches procurements to contractual obligations and financial budgets to build and support the ongoing operation of the NASA Shared Services Center.

·        Procurement role includes various time-sensitive procurements within NASA’s functional areas of HR, Finance, Procurement Services, Information Technology, and other agency business areas on the contract. 

·        Special emphasis is provided to our HR Employee Recognition service area as it supports time sensitive NASA Honor Ceremonies agency wide.

·        May act as the Assistant Facilities Manager of the NASA Shared Services Center.

Customer Relationship Management Support:

Duties include performing a variety of tasks in support of communication and change management objectives to include, but not limited to:

·        Perform daily quality check of websites, run broken link reports, and make necessary web content edits

·        Provide document review and coordination, including editing style, format, clarity, and grammar

·        Use data analysis to forecast communications needs and create communications

·        Manage ServiceNow inboxes for Strategic Integration and Communications Division (SIC) support

·        Perform monthly web reporting

·        Develop ad hoc communications products

·        Provide graphics and video editing support (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite knowledge)

·        Conduct events planning and duties necessary to execute NSSC ceremonies, events, speeches, etc. (some events will require on-site performance)

·        Create and distribute a monthly newsletter

·        Design, print, and hang posters

Required Experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
    • Relevant experience may be substituted for the minimum education requirements at the discretion of the government customer.
  • 8 years of relevant work experience
  • Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs 
  • US Citizenship Required; Must be able to undergo a background investigation for a position of NASA Public Trust
  • Must be within commuting distance of Stennis Space Center (SSC) and willing/able to commute to SSC as needed

$63,000.00

Maximum Salary

$73,500.00
