HR Training Purchases: SCA Personnel Assistant III (PA III)
NASA Shared Services Center, Hancock County, Mississippi
Remote to residents primarily located within commuting distance to Stennis Space Center in Mississippi.

Position Summary
The NSSC is seeking a highly motivated Personnel Assistant III (PA III) to join our HR Training Purchases Team. The candidate selected for this role will manage and administer the agency learning management system (LMS). A PA III provides support to NASA employees throughout their training process. You may also coordinate training purchases, ensuring compliance with purchasing guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Agency LMS:
- Understand training requirements as needed to manage the LMS
- Create new items (i.e., courses ) and scheduled offerings (i.e., classes)
- Record learning credit for courses, classes, and access-related training
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Support robotic process automations
- Provide timely and effective support for inquiries and issues
Training Purchases:
- Review request forms for accuracy and confirm center training authority
- Review requests to fully understand training requirements
- Initiate purchase requisitions in the agency contract management system
- Assemble pre-award packages for review and approval
- Publish sources sought notices on government point-of-entry (i.e., sam.gov)
- Complete required documentation for training purchases
- Review requests to modify training purchases
- Review invoices for accuracy and verify information in IRIS and P-Card systems
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations procurement
Reporting and Analysis:
- Understand and meet performance measures and service level indicators
- Generate comprehensive reports for customers and stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings
- Understand, develop, and document workflow processes
- Document all work in within ServiceNow

Required Experience
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of professional experience
- Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and LMS systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to undergo background investigation for position of Public Trust
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Experience in support of NASA
