Performs a variety of IT governance activities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
- Assist in the development of applicable IT Policies and procedures.
- Provision of support to establish and manage organizational structures, such as boards and committees, in support of CIO activities.
- Assist in tracking and completion of actions. Monitor Enterprise and center actions assigned to SSC OCIO and create SSC actions assigned to appropriate OCIO personnel.
- Disposition actions in local and agency action tracking systems. Action tracking includes enterprise and local document reviews.
- Provision of other technical support as requested which is not considered inherently governmental.
- Applies advanced knowledge concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
- Determine methods, sequences, and procedures necessary for governance.
- Reviews a variety of documentation for compliance.
- Runs a variety of routine reports.

Required Experience
Required Qualifications:
One of the following combinations:
-
- Bachelor's degree or higher and 4 years of related experience
- High School degree or Associate's and 8 years of vocational training or related work experience
- Experience in development and implementation of IT governance and management structures, processes, and related tools.
- U.S. Citizenship required; must be willing to undergo and pass a background investigation for position of NASA Public Trust
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting NASA
- Degree in related discipline
