General Summary

Responsible for providing highly specialized, advanced technical and/or professional expertise in the area of NASA Configuration and Data Management (CDM) beyond the capability of the regular staff personnel.  Candidate will assist COLSA's capture and proposal teams with creating a comprehensive and compelling proposal for the NASA CDM opportunity.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)

  • Analyzes NASA CDM operational activities across a multitude of NASA programs utilizing technical and/or professional expertise beyond the capability of the regular staff personnel
  • Provides technical, operational and organizational insight into tasks related to NASA CDM in support of multiple programs
  • Provides customer insight for NASA CDM, supported programs, and Marshal Space Flight Center as a whole
  • Supports creation and execution of a targeted customer call plan
  • Provides input to proposal solutions architects based on specialized experience or knowledge
  • Presents, develops and delivers innovative customer-focused solutions and strategies to COLSA Capture and Proposal Teams
  • Uses expert knowledge to collaborate across teammates to ensure successful delivery of technical approach based on scope of work/performance work statement and RFP requirements
  • Recognized as an expert is the field; may be requested to advise and consult on area of knowledge with high-level stakeholders

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in related field
  • Minimum of 20 years of related experience
  • Must have NASA CDM experience, knowledge and skill set that is required to meet capture and proposal requirements
  • Familiarity with SLS, ISS and other programs that employ NASA CDM capabilities
  • U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to undergo criminal background check prior to hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD preferred
