Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
We’re looking for a strategic and collaborative Content Marketing Manager to lead our content strategy and execution across digital channels, social media, and marketing collateral. This pivotal role shapes how we communicate with our customers and stakeholders, ensuring our messaging is engaging, consistent, and aligned with our brand and business objectives.
You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across the business to deliver a high-quality, consistent content experience that drives engagement and supports commercial outcomes. From helping to define our web content strategy to managing external agencies and guiding our social media content, you’ll bring a modern, audience-first approach to everything you do.
This is a high-impact role with real ownership of the content strategy space, access to an accomplished and well-resourced agency village, and the opportunity to influence and grow. You’ll be part of a team with a growth mindset, striving to be great, and will play a key role in shaping the future of our content marketing capability.
Ō Wheako, ō Pūkenga | Your Experience
Proven experience in content strategy and execution, ideally in a B2C or agency environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead content strategies that support business objectives, with strong stakeholder influence skills
- Critical thinker with experience producing high-impact content across multiple platforms and channels
- Skilled at simplifying complex technical concepts for broad audiences
- Deep understanding of modern content trends, including SEO, social platform differentiation, video content, and a growing awareness of and interest in the impact of AI on content and Search.
- Experience managing social media strategy and platforms (e.g., Sprout Social), with a focus on efficiency, agility and audience engagement
- Strong budget planning, management, and negotiation capabilities
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or PR
