Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, working cross-functionally, and playing a vital role in driving strategic growth through some of our most critical partnerships. It’s a high-impact, relationship-focused role where you’ll manage complex stakeholder ecosystems, resolve challenges, and unlock growth opportunities. Acting as a conduit between Chorus and some of its key channel partners, you’ll translate strategic goals into actionable plans, influence prioritisation, and co-create solutions that deliver mutual value.
It’s a hands-on role that blends account management, strategic thinking, and change enablement. You’ll be part of a high-performing team known for industry-leading satisfaction scores, working at the pointy end of change to influence go-to-market strategy.
The role offers the chance to collaborate cross-functionally across the business and gives you the freedom to make it your own, shaping how we partner for growth and building resilience and capability through challenging, high-value relationships.
Ō Wheako, ō Pūkenga | Your Experience
To thrive in this role, we’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in stakeholder management, sales, or account management with large customers
- The ability to navigate complexity, resolve disputes, and influence outcomes
- A growth mindset, curiosity, and strategic thinking capability
- Confidence and maturity to build credibility across senior stakeholders
- Tenacity and relationship-building finesse
- Comfort working under pressure and managing competing priorities
Telco experience would be great, however, is not essential, what matters is your ability to manage partnerships, drive commercial outcomes, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
