Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity 

Are you a strategic thinker with hands-on media and digital campaign expertise? Ready to lead large-scale, high-impact campaigns for one of New Zealand’s most recognised brands?

We’re looking for a Media and Digital Marketing Manager to take ownership of end-to-end media strategy, planning and execution across both digital and mass media channels. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in delivering campaigns that reach consumers, SMEs and large enterprises, generating brand awareness, engagement and measurable business outcomes.

 This is not just an executional role, you’ll be the go-to expert and strategic partner across the marketing function, supporting internal teams with media best practice, working closely with external agency partners, and shaping the way we approach media across multiple business units.

You’ll be comfortable owning digital performance (SEM, paid social, display, programmatic and SEO), as well as guiding our approach to mass media such as TV, radio and outdoor. With strong cross-functional collaboration, a supportive team culture, and a healthy media budget at your fingertips, this role is an exciting opportunity to truly make your mark.

Ō Wheako, ō Pūkenga | Your Experience 

We’re after a confident media expert with a solid foundation in both digital and traditional channels. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have the maturity to work independently while influencing senior stakeholders.

You’ll bring:

  • 5–7+ years’ experience in media and/or digital marketing (agency or client-side)
  • Proven success leading integrated media campaigns (digital & mass media)
  • Expertise across SEM, paid social, programmatic, and SEO
  • Experience interpreting media plans and making performance-driven decisions
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills, including media agency engagement
  • The confidence to challenge media recommendations and present to senior leadership
  • Financial acumen to manage budgets and media spend
  • Bonus: Telco or service-based industry experience (e.g. finance, insurance)
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Sprout platform (not essential)
