Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
As a Product Improvement Manager, you’ll play a key role in making our products better, for both customers and the teams that support them. You’ll spearhead initiatives that simplify processes, improve the customer experience, and ensure our products are performing at their best. This role is all about spotting what’s not working, figuring out why, and driving meaningful changes that make a difference.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, using data, feedback, and insights to prioritise what matters most. Whether it’s improving internal tools, removing unnecessary steps in a process, or streamlining the customer journey, you’ll be the one helping to make it all more efficient and effective.
If you enjoy problem-solving, working with data, and guide improvements from idea to execution, this role gives you the chance to shape how our infrastructure products perform, now and in the future.
Ō Wheako, ō Pūkenga | Your Experience
To do well in this role, you’ll need a strong background in product, customer experience, or process improvement, plus the confidence to drive change across teams and systems.
You have:
• 5–7 years of experience in product management, customer experience, or similar roles
• Hands-on experience using the Double Diamond framework to lead discovery through to delivery
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, you know how to turn insights into action
• Experience juggling multiple workstreams and stakeholders without losing focus
• A collaborative mindset, you work well with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain ideas clearly through reports and presentations
• A curious, improvement-focused mindset, you’re not afraid to question how things are done
• Comfort working in fast-moving environments where priorities can shift
