Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
Join Chorus as our Neura IoT Sales Specialist and play a critical role in scaling our next-generation IoT solutions across diverse industry sectors. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth through strategic opportunity identification, customer engagement and tailored solution development. Working closely with the Head of New Business, Neura IoT Business Manager, Head of Infrastructure Sales and broader Neura team, you’ll help shape and execute the sales strategy to achieve commercial targets. Your work will include everything from new business acquisition and key account management to leading negotiations and RFI /RFP submissions.
 
You'll need a solid understanding of IoT technologies, cloud ecosystems and digital infrastructure, as you’ll be responsible for aligning technical solutions with customer needs. From crafting high-impact proposals and leveraging Chorus’s strategic selling tools, to collaborating with internal solution architects and external technology partners, your ability to translate complex customer requirements into scalable IoT solutions will be key. You'll also ensure data accuracy and pipeline visibility via CRM management and play an active role in building strategic partnerships with cloud providers, technology vendors and industry stakeholders.

You are a results-driven B2B sales professional with a strong understanding of IoT technologies and a proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles. You thrive in collaborative environments, can translate technical needs into tailored solutions, and have a strategic mindset when it comes to customer engagement and business growth.
 
You bring:
 
• Proven experience in solution-based sales, ideally within the IoT, cloud or technology sectors
• Strong understanding of IoT ecosystems, digital infrastructure and cloud-based solutions
• Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, from lead generation to deal closure
• Experience managing RFIs, RFPs and high-value proposal development
• Confidence in negotiating commercial terms and securing long-term customer relationships
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar) and structured sales methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and commercial teams
• A proactive, self-motivated approach to identifying and converting new business opportunities
