Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
As a Strategic Sales Lead – Mobile Infrastructure, you’ll take charge of driving growth in our Mobile Infrastructure business. This role is all about identifying high-value opportunities, nurturing strong customer and partner relationships, and delivering tailored solutions across mobile connectivity, colocation, and wireless infill. You’ll work with Mobile Network Operators, infrastructure partners, and channel providers to position our capabilities as essential to their network strategies.
From prospecting to closing, you’ll own the full sales cycle. You’ll also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, product, engineering, marketing, to ensure what we offer meets market demand and customer needs. Your insights and experience will help shape future initiatives and keep us ahead in a fast-evolving connectivity landscape.
This is a strategic, customer-facing role for someone who thrives on connection, understands infrastructure sales, and can spot commercial opportunities others might miss. If you’re looking to make a measurable impact in a critical growth area, we want to hear from you.
 
Ō Wheako, ō Pūkenga | Your Experience
You’ll bring a strong mix of commercial acumen, deep industry experience, and the ability to influence and lead from the front. You’ve worked across the mobile infrastructure space, from MNOs to colocation, and know how to connect customer needs with business strategy.
 
To be successful, you’ll need:
• 7–10 years of experience in a strategic sales role within Mobile Operators, B2B telecommunications, IT, or a related industry
• A strong track record of exceeding sales targets and driving commercial growth
• Deep relationships with key decision-makers and leadership within New Zealand Mobile Network Operators
• Demonstrated success in managing and winning complex RFPs and RFIs
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, you’re a trusted advisor, not just a salesperson
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a knack for turning market insights into winning strategies
• Confidence juggling multiple priorities and opportunities at once
• Solid experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and using sales data to inform decision-making
• A customer-first mindset, you can uncover needs and create tailored, valuable solutions
• Resilience and adaptability, you’re energised by a fast-moving, constantly evolving environment
