Are you a strategic thinker who thrives on solving complex challenges with tailored solutions? As a Senior Solutions Consultant at Chorus, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of connectivity, by designing innovative, non-standard solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers.
You’ll work side-by-side with customers, channel partners, and internal teams to understand business challenges and craft solutions that leverage the power of our fibre infrastructure, IoT, and next-gen technology. This role isn’t just about pre-sales support, it’s about leading conversations, influencing outcomes, and playing a critical role in the success of strategic accounts. Your insights will help shape technology projects from concept to delivery, ensuring that what we build delivers real value.
As part of a collaborative, cross-functional team, you’ll support everything from technical scoping and solution design to proposal development and sales enablement. Whether you’re mapping out connectivity strategies or presenting a proof-of-concept, you’ll be driving innovation while supporting Chorus’ broader mission to keep Aotearoa connected and future-ready.

Ō Wheako, ō Pūkenga | Your Experience
You’re someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and business, translating complex ideas into practical, customer-focused solutions. You’re strategic, confident in front of clients, and always ready to collaborate to get the job done.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
• 5+ years of experience in solutions sales, pre-sales, or technical sales, ideally within B2B telecommunications, IT, or a similar industry
• A proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue through well-executed strategic plans
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to lead presentations, write compelling proposals, and build strong rapport with customers
• A customer-first mindset, with the ability to identify needs and develop tailored solutions that create real value
• Solid project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce, and the ability to use sales tools and analytics to track performance and engagement
• A knack for building and sustaining trusted relationships with key clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
• A proactive, adaptable approach, comfortable working in fast-moving environments where change is part of the process
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn and iterate based on customer and market feedback
