In this 12-month fixed term role, drive financial performance with purpose and impact
If you’re looking for a role that combines technical depth with strategic influence, this is your opportunity to contribute directly to the financial performance and future planning of Chorus. Sitting within the CFO’s office, this role is at the heart of the business, supporting everything from monthly consolidated reporting to half-year and year-end results, while helping shape accurate forecasting and business planning for the entire group.
You’ll be hands-on with capital expenditure management, fixed asset analysis, and financial reporting, delivering insights that guide decision-making across the business. You’ll collaborate with investment managers and finance leads to understand variances, produce meaningful reporting, and support strategic planning. You’ll also work closely with the tax team to assist in core tax calculations and returns, ensuring compliance and clarity.
Beyond the numbers, you’ll help lead continuous improvement in financial controls and processes, including streamlining reporting systems and enhancing the use of tools like SAP, Blackline, and our reporting platforms. Your technical accounting expertise, especially around fixed assets and revaluation, will play a key part in the quality of our external reporting and audit processes.
You’ll be part of a high-performing team in Financial Control, working across group reporting, systems, and tax, and contributing to a broader function that also includes Treasury, Investor Relations, and Regulatory Accounting. If you’re ready to take your finance career to the next level and thrive in a role where accuracy, insight, and continuous improvement matter, we’d love to hear from you.
