Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) Lead

Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
If you’re passionate about helping teams deliver better, faster, and smarter, this is the role for you. As the EPMO Lead, you’ll play a key role in ensuring transparency and efficiency across our strategic initiative pipeline. Working closely with the Senior Manager – EPMO, Executive Leadership and key stakeholders, you’ll coordinate the enterprise-wide quarterly planning and performance tracking process and help keep delivery aligned to our most important priorities. 

You’ll facilitate governance forums, support the strategic pipeline delivery process, and provide actionable insights that help leaders make informed, timely decisions. You’ll also contribute to the ongoing improvement of delivery models—helping teams work more effectively and ensuring projects create real impact.

This role is a critical link between strategy and execution, and a great opportunity to make a visible difference in how things get done at Chorus. 

Ō Wheako, ō Pūkenga | Your Experience
You’re someone who thrives in complex project environments and knows how to bring clarity, structure, and energy to enterprise planning and delivery.

You’ll bring to the role: 
•    Experience working in enterprise or adaptive PMOs in large organisations. 
•    Knowledge of multi-modal delivery frameworks (Agile, Hybrid, Traditional). 
•    Skill in designing and managing project prioritisation frameworks. 
•    Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, especially at senior levels. 
•    Experience developing governance packs, dashboards, and performance reporting. 
•    Proficiency in project systems like Jira, MS Project, or similar tools. 
•    A proactive mindset, always looking for ways to improve how initiatives are delivered.
