Property Delivery Manager

Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
As the Property Delivery Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of property-related projects across Chorus’s network sites and offices, making sure they’re completed on time, within budget, and to the right standard. You’ll be responsible for managing a wide range of capital investment projects, from small asset replacements to major infrastructure upgrades, while ensuring everything aligns with health and safety standards, customer needs, and business goals.
 
In this role, you’ll work closely with internal teams, contractors, and consultants to plan, deliver, and optimise property works. You’ll bring your business partnering expertise to build strong, collaborative relationship to support strategic property initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships throughout each project.
 
You’ll also play a hands-on leadership role, guiding project teams, resolving issues as they arise, and helping shape how property programmes are delivered. If you enjoy managing complex projects, mentoring and guiding people, and creating better ways of working, this is a chance to make a real impact across the business.
 
Ō Wheako, ō Pūkenga | Your Experience
To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong experience delivering property or infrastructure projects, with the confidence to inspire teams, manage stakeholders, and drive results in a complex environment.
 
Your experience will include:
  • 10+ years delivering property, infrastructure, or construction projects and programmes
  • Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders and contractors
  • Strong business partnering experience and skills.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in project management or similar (e.g. NZ Diploma in Business, PRINCE2)
  • A strong track record of implementing project and programme management best practices
  • Deep knowledge of health & safety and risk management in property delivery
  • Experience managing contracts, procurement, and budgets
  • Strong leadership skills—you can guide, motivate, and support teams effectively
  • Great communication skills, with the ability to solve problems and make sound judgements
  • A collaborative mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • The drive and energy to get things done, adapt to change, and keep projects moving
