Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
Step into a critical leadership role shaping enterprise-wide cyber security.
As our Information Security Officer, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding our systems, data, and digital infrastructure. This is a strategic, senior-level position where your technical expertise and ability to influence will be put to work across our business and service partners.
You’ll take the lead on defining and implementing our security policies, overseeing the protection of our production environments, and managing our compliance with legislative and regulatory obligations, including the Telecommunications (Interception Capability and Security) Act 2013. Working closely with our Principal Security Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Audit & Risk Management Committee, you’ll help translate cyber risk into clear business decisions.
You’ll bring a breadth of experience in IT, networks, and information security, and you’re comfortable navigating both technical depth and executive-level communication. Your ability to simplify complex security concepts will be vital in helping the business understand and manage cyber risk.
You’ll be part of a wider team that includes asset and network technology management, strategic planning, and technology delivery. Together, we ensure our digital infrastructure is future-ready, secure, and aligned with business outcomes.
If you’re someone who thrives on complexity, wants to make a real impact, and can bring both strategic clarity and operational expertise to a growing security landscape, we’d love to hear from you.
