Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity   
We’re looking for a talented Content Marketing Manager – B2B to join our Brand, Marketing and Experience team at Chorus and help tell our stories.   
 
In this exciting, hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content marketing strategy for Chorus’ Infrastructure product portfolio. You’ll turn complex technical product information and propositions into clear, engaging content that resonates with business customers and channel partners to drive brand and product awareness, generate leads, and support our growth ambitions. As this is a newly created role, you'll have the opportunity to make your mark on the Infrastructure Value Stream’s content marketing efforts and shape its future direction.  
 
You’ll be working across a variety of content formats, including short and long-form editorial content, blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, presentations, and video scripts. You’ll also play a key role in delivering our channel partner communications.  
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Content Strategy & Creation: Develop and execute a content marketing strategy that supports our B2B goals, including driving brand awareness and lead generation for our Infrastructure products. 
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work with Product, Sales, Customer Engagement, Legal, and other teams to help roll out effective product marketing campaigns and communications. 
  • Content Creation & Management: Produce, review and edit high-quality content for use across paid, owned and earned channels.  
  • SEO & Performance Tracking: Optimise content for SEO and use analytics tools to monitor and refine strategies, ensuring continuous improvement. 
  • Channel Partner Communications: Manage and execute customer communications to our channel partners using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and our website CMS. 
  • Creative Leadership: Champion creativity, providing fresh ideas that take our content from good to great while adhering to brand guidelines and compliance standards. 
Ō Wheako, ō Pūkenga | Your Experience 
7+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or agency roles, preferably in B2B contexts, with a focus on technology or infrastructure marketing. You have a proven track record in content creation, strategy development, and execution, producing persuasive, engaging content for business audiences. 
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, PR, Advertising) or equivalent industry experience. 
  • Proven ability to develop and execute content marketing strategies that align with business goals and resonate with target audiences. 
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices and proficiency in using analytics tools to track and refine content marketing efforts.   
  • Creative thinking, attention to detail, time management and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.  
We are looking for someone who has experience working cross-functionally with teams such as Product and Sales, collaborating effectively to drive business outcomes. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and proactive, with a strong commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in content marketing, ensuring their strategies are both innovative and impactful.
