Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Engineer to join our Sales team. This role is instrumental in demonstrating the technical capabilities and business value of Certilytics' Predictive Analytics platform to prospects and clients. Acting as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders, the Applications Engineer will provide pre-sales support, technical expertise, and hands-on demonstrations to showcase how our solutions solve healthcare industry challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Sales Support & Presentations
- Lead product demonstrations and technical discussions to highlight the power of Certilytics’ predictive analytics solutions.
- Clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level executives, analysts, and IT professionals.
- Develop and refine demo strategies, scripts, and proof-of-concept approaches tailored to client-specific needs.
Client Engagement & Solution Consulting
- Understand customer pain points and align Certilytics’ solutions with their business objectives.
- Work closely with prospects and customers to gather requirements and recommend optimal analytics solutions.
- Establish trusted advisor relationships with clients by providing deep technical knowledge and strategic insights.
Sales Enablement & RFP Support
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to develop compelling sales materials, including proposals, white papers, and case studies.
- Assist in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and technical inquiries, ensuring clear and accurate representation of Certilytics’ capabilities.
- Support marketing efforts at industry conferences, webinars, and trade shows to enhance brand presence.
Product & Industry Expertise
- Maintain a deep understanding of predictive analytics, AI/ML applications, and healthcare data.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings to refine sales messaging.
- Provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams, influencing future product enhancements based on client needs.
Implementation Support & Client Success
- Assist in technical implementation discussions and provide support during early adoption phases.
- Ensure clients successfully integrate Certilytics’ solutions within their infrastructure and workflows.
- Offer technical support and guidance during solution deployment, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.

Required Skills
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Must know SQL
- 3+ years of experience in a technical sales, solutions engineering, or applications engineering role.
- Strong understanding of predictive analytics, AI/ML, and data visualization tools.
- Prior experience in healthcare analytics, health insurance, or population health is highly desirable.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills to engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet clients, conduct demos, and attend industry events.
