These relationships with various data providers and customers allows for rapid data ingestion, validation and enrichment as well as streamlined delivery of analytic dashboards, outputs and visualizations to our customers.

The Client Data Implementation Specialist will be responsible for onboarding client data as part of a new and existing client implementations.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Work closely with the client engagement team to facilitate the onboarding of new clients and their data.
  • Participate in internal and external client implementation meetings, reporting statuses, timelines, and issues.
  • Identify data sources, as well as internal and external data requirements.
  • Analyze and negotiate data layouts and data dictionaries from clients and data partners.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve between Certilytics standards and client data/documentation.
  • Coordinate the setup of secure data transmissions & schedules, adhering to Certilytics policies and standards.
  • Use SQL and other tools to analyze, understand, and perform gap analysis on client’s data, escalating and resolving issues as needed with internal and external teams.
  • Author data mapping and transformation requirements based on the understanding of Certilytics requirements and client/data partner documentation/data.
  • Work closely with the development team setting up technical integrations and configurations.
  • Test client data configuration to validate source data has been accurately mapped, transformed, and loaded to Certilytics standards.
  • Develop & maintain detailed documentation. Serve as the subject matter expert for the context of the data.
  • Work closely with the operations and development team to smoothly transition client and data to production, as well as integrate into routine production processing pipelines and product deliverables.
  • Adhere to security policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS/BA in health care administration, mathematics, statistics, business, computer science or similar degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 1- 3 years-experience working as a data analyst, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience with healthcare data is a plus; a minimum of 3-year experience working with healthcare data is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with data analysis required.
  • Experience with ETL processes preferred.
  • Experience with SQL preferred.
  • Experience with building reports and communicating findings. Working knowledge of data visualization software is a plus.
  • Understanding of key managed care concepts and terms including risk adjustment, pmpm, CPT, ICD9/10 coding, HCPCS, DRG, etc.
  • Experience with non-traditional healthcare data desired.
