Job Description
We are currently seeking a candidate for an entry level position in our IT/Systems department. This is a position for the candidate who wishes to expand their abilities, with a stable company in the Rhode Island / South Eastern Massachusetts area. We are looking for a detailed oriented individual with strong organizational skills who may or may not have an area of specialization to help and grow in a wide range of IT/ Help Desk functions.
Pay range: $19-24 hourly

Roles and Responsibilities
- Supporting end user helpdesk for basic hardware and software issues.
- Analyze and troubleshoot a wide variety of technical and non-technical issues.
- Provide in person, telephone and remote support for end users.
- Work closely with peers and other departments while providing excellent customer service.
- Occasional local travel (MA,RI, NH) to remote showrooms.
- Speak effectively; listen to, and understand, information and ideas as presented.
- Assist in the creation, updating and reviewing of department documentation
- Assist with auditing numerous reports and data, provided on paper and computer screen.
- Aid in maintaining our internal intranet and website.
- Ability to work on-site during regularly scheduled shifts and as needed after hours to support emergency and off time projects.
- Ability to effectively research a wide range of IT related topics.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
Required Skills
- Entry level, helpdesk experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of HTML required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good understanding of basic technology concepts.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and follow through in high-pressure situations
- Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and comfortable with remote/telephone support functions
- Strong communications skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work in both team environments and as an individual contributor.
- Ability to sit for extended periods at a keyboard to enter information and read displays.
