This position supports the staff, instructors and operations of the College & Career Readiness (CCR) program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain a positive, professional image of College & Career Readiness.
- Provide customer service, in person and by phone for college staff and the public.
- Provide secretarial functions, including answering phones, filing, proofreading, sorting mail, copying and word processing/correspondence
- Set up meetings, including room reservations
- Order program supplies, as needed
- Support instructor and staff activities, as requested
UNIQUE FUNCTIONS
- Input CCR student information into the college database
- Create and mail invoices for third-party billing
- Receive, submit, and track payments of CCR billing statements
SPECIFIC SKILLS PREFERRED
- Possess excellent customer service and communication skills
- Work effectively with staff and students of various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
- Ability to adapt to frequent change
- Ability to manage conflict in a courteous and professional manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters
- Bi-lingual (Spanish preferred)
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE PREFERRED
- Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft suite of programs (Word, Excel, etc.) required.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED
