Under the direction of the Director of Early College at the College of Southern Idaho (CSI), the Early College Senior Coordinator (ECSC) serves in a leadership role supporting the Early College team, high school partners, students, parents, and internal CSI departments. The ECSC provides strategic oversight of all Dual Enroll processes and is responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant, and student-centered operations. This role includes supervising team members, leading cross-functional collaborations, and managing programmatic systems that support dual credit enrollment. It is essential that this role demonstrates a positive and supportive attitude to effectively contribute to the early college team’s mission of fostering a strong sense of belonging among team members, students, and the high schools we serve. 

 

The ECSC also acts as a key partner to CSI Dual Credit Faculty Liaisons and is responsible for developing and delivering faculty liaison training. This position leads the hiring and onboarding process for dual credit instructors and ensures operational excellence in dual credit course scheduling and front-office functions. The ECSC champions a culture of access, inclusion, and leadership within the Early College team and contributes to college-wide initiatives that support recruitment, retention, and post-secondary transitions, in alignment with CSI’s mission and strategic priorities. 

 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS  

 

  • The ECSC will report directly to the Early College Director, who oversees the department. It is crucial for this position to demonstrate strong collaboration, trust, and support to effectively contribute within the team and organization. 
  • Lead & manage technical aspects of the Early College Program, including processing registrations, data cleanup, academic terms are open/closed, and timely management of DualEnroll operations.  
  • Supervise and provide leadership to the EC Registration Specialist and EC Administrative Assistant, fostering team development and accountability. 
  • Work with the EC team and students to help promote transition from high school to CSI.  Develop transition plans, tracking, and reporting.  
  • Facilitate dual credit instructor hiring processes and dual credit instructor onboarding.  
  • Create and deliver presentations for liaisons and dual credit faculty. 
  • Collect and manage course information and keep accurate documentation of the dual credit course schedule. 
  • Communicate efficiently with the Course Builder to ensure all courses are built accurately and in a timely manner. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for CSI Dual Credit Instructional Liaisons and deliver training to liaisons regarding dual credit responsibilities.  
  • Manage the CSI catalog in the Advanced Opportunities portal to ensure it is uploaded annually and that the courses are available for funding.  
  • Collaborate with CSI Admissions, Bridge to Success, and Enrollment Services teams to support program goals.  
  • Proactively explore innovative solutions to enhance Early College operations and future program development.  
  • Actively work with the internal systems (Power BI) and reports to track, monitor, utilize data, and provide regular analysis to Director to assist with ECC goals. 
  • Assist students in completing enrollment processes including admission application, course registration, certificate of residency form, financial aid, and student orientation registration. 
  • Assist in reaching out to students, with phone calls, email, and outreach efforts.  
  • Assist with coordination of recruitment and transition activities with respective campus offices and staff (i.e., Admissions, Enrollment Services, Office of the Registrar, Financial Aid Office, Office of Student Affairs, faculty, department chairs, and focus area advisors). 
  • Support the Early College Team when schedule allows by participating in high school-sponsored functions promoting college attainment, including post-secondary testing and school-sponsored tours. 
  • Maintain current knowledge of Idaho State Board of Education Advanced Opportunities policies.  
  • Contact and monitor technical support submissions to internal and DualEnroll helpdesks as needed.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). 

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS  

 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel.  
  • Experience with Dual Enroll and Anthology Student and Reach (preferred). 
  • Familiarity with Canvas (preferred). 

 

QUALIFICATIONS  

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in leadership, Higher Education, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.  
  • A minimum of two years of leadership or supervisory experience is (required).  
  • A minimum of two years of experience in higher education (preferred).  
  • Experience with dual credit, admissions and/or advising services (preferred).  
  • Strong focus on student, team, and institutional success.  
  • High level of professionalism, adaptability, and customer service orientation. 
  • Excellent attitude and commitment to service.  
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.  
  • Strong computer and technical skills.  

 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS  

 

  • Adherence to a regular work schedule with flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends to support campus events.  
  • Access to a reliable personal vehicle may be required for travel to high schools, with mileage reimbursed at the institutional rate from an established base (campus or off-campus center).
