The College of Southern Idaho (CSI) seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Test Proctor to support the expansion of industry and workforce testing services. This position plays a key role in ensuring a secure, professional, and customer-focused testing environment that meets the needs of local businesses, workforce development initiatives, certification agencies, and national testing organizations.
Timeline: For best consideration, applicants should submit materials by July 15th with a flexible start date depending on candidate.
Location: This position is located on the main CSI Campus in Twin Falls with some travel required to the Mini-Cassia Center in Burley. It is a face-to-face position with no option for remote work.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer and proctor a variety of exams, including but not limited to industry certifications, licensure exams, workforce assessments, and academic tests.
- Ensure compliance with all testing protocols, security measures, and proctoring guidelines set forth by testing vendors and the College of Southern Idaho.
- Collaborate with industry partners, workforce development organizations, and testing providers to expand the availability of industry-relevant assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of test administration, candidate identification, incident reports, and accommodations.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating testing sessions for individuals, businesses, and organizations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining testing procedures, and resolving issues professionally.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and testing requirements to enhance services and meet community workforce needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to online and computer-based testing platforms.
- Maintain a secure testing environment, enforcing testing center policies, monitoring test takers, and reporting violations.
- Support the marketing and outreach of testing services to increase awareness and participation among local employers and job seekers.
- Assist in maintaining and updating test center policies, procedures, and documentation.
Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures.
- Proficiency with computers, online testing platforms, and office software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, industry partners, and testing organizations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold integrity in test administration.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends based on testing demand.
