Bienvivir All-Inclusive Senior Health (“Bienvivir”) is a community-based, patient-centered, comprehensive health care delivery system that advocates and promotes quality of life, optimum independence, dignity, and choices in a nurturing environment for frail seniors. Since 1987, Bienvivir has served the frail seniors of El Paso, Texas through the provision of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (“PACE”).
PACE is a unique managed care benefit for frail seniors (referred to as participants) age 55 and older who are certified by the state as needing nursing home level care and who reside in a PACE service area. PACE programs coordinate and provide comprehensive medical and support services so that participants can remain independent and stay in their homes for as long as safely possible.

Bienvivir is currently accepting applications for the following position:
UNIT CLERK
Under the direct supervision of the Clinic Manager, the Unit Clerk provides supportive services for patient care in the clinic. Responsible for the transcription of orders and provision of clerical support as needed to promote positive participant outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Processes all orders in EMR to include updating the Treatment Administration Record for all treatment order changes.
2. Responsible for routing all orders in the EMR to the appropriate clinic staff for review and changes the status of the orders to ensure correct processing and flow of the order through the EMR.
3. Responsible for sending all daily Primary Care Provider changes to facilities and following up with the facility staff to ensure receipt of the orders.
4. Sends all Physician’s orders, Medication Administration Records and Treatment Administration Records to all contracted facilities monthly basis and ensures receipt of these documents.
5. Compiles and sends clinical records to facilities for client placement purposes and to the hospitals for all hospital admissions and ER visits.
6. Enters all orders for supplies for clinic operations and client care.
7. Runs and distributes various reports as assigned.
8. Answers telephone as needed, records and communicates messages promptly and reliably.
9. Assists clinic staff with transporting clients to and from the clinic as needed
10. Cross trained to provide backup coverage to the Data Entry Clerk as needed.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Proficient in computer skills.
3. Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred
