Bienvivir All-Inclusive Senior Health (“Bienvivir”) is a community-based, patient-centered, comprehensive health care delivery system that advocates and promotes quality of life, optimum independence, dignity, and choices in a nurturing environment for frail seniors. Since 1987, Bienvivir has served the frail seniors of El Paso, Texas through the provision of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (“PACE”).

PACE is a unique managed care benefit for frail seniors (referred to as participants) age 55 and older who are certified by the state as needing nursing home level care and who reside in a PACE service area. PACE programs coordinate and provide comprehensive medical and support services so that participants can remain independent and stay in their homes for as long as safely possible.


BENEFITS for Full and Part-time employees who work 30 or more hours per week:

Bienvivir is currently accepting applications for the following position:



Under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist and Occupational Therapist Assistant, the OT clerk is responsible for: maintaining the department’s equipment and supplies; assisting
licensed staff members in the transportation, preparation and treatment of participants; and providing clerical support for the department.

1. Prepare participants for treatment
2. Assist the OT/COTA to complete the POC according to the State Practice Act and the AOTA standards of practice.
3. Assist the OT /COTA in the documentation of patient care administered according to the State Practice Act.
4. Communicate participant changes to the OT/COTA as appropriate.
5. Maintain and clean equipment according to manufacturer’s recommendations.
6. Assist the OT department in tracking supply needs and maintaining adequate levels.
7. Prepare supply orders and transportation requests and check in supplies and equipment when they are received.
8. Review MD orders relating to OT in the Electronic Health Record.
9. Track & Schedule participants for their initial evaluations, MD referral evaluations, recertification’s, reassessments, I&A evaluations, and treatments.
10. Complete MSURs.
11. Follow up on delinquent I&A list.
12. Prepare the daily schedule for participants to be seen on that day.
13. Answer phone and take messages.
14. Attend general staff meetings and departmental staff meetings.
15. Any and all other tasks assigned specifically by the employee’s supervisor.

1. High School diploma or equivalent and one year of work experience as a technician.
2. CPR certification.
3. Health related background preferred.
4. Responsible, self directed.
5. Fast and accurate typing skills.
6. Experience/skill operating a computer.
7. Ability to accept supervision.
8. Bilingual (English/Spanish).
