The AADC at Boston University is seeking a talented and motivated Bioinformatician to join our dynamic, interdisciplinary research team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with faculty engaged in cutting-edge research on inflammation, vascular disease, and fibrosis, using datasets from both human and mouse models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze high-throughput biological datasets (e.g., bulk RNA-seq, single-cell RNA-seq, proteomics, epigenomics).
- Collaborate with faculty and researchers to design and execute data-driven studies.
- Develop and maintain pipelines for data processing, integration, and visualization.
- Interpret and present results to collaborators and contribute to scientific publications.
- Stay current on emerging bioinformatics tools and technologies relevant to the research.

Required Skills
Qualifications:
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis languages (e.g., R, Python) and bioinformatics software/tools.
- Experience working with genomic and transcriptomic datasets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with data from inflammatory, vascular, or fibrotic disease models is a plus.
