Dr. Michael Alosco, Professor of Neurology, seeks a Postdoctoral Associate for research in aging and dementia.. This is an exciting opportunity to conduct high impact studies on chronic traumatic encephalopathy, Alzheimer’s disease, and related dementias at an NIA-funded Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC). You will receive multidisciplinary training with joint research and clinical supervision. Research activities include:

  • Clinical-pathological correlation studies
  • Longitudinal clinical outcome studies
  • Imaging and fluid biomarker studies
  • Image analysis (if desired, experience required)
  • Risk factor studies
  • Participant clinical interviews
  • Multidisciplinary diagnostic consensus conferences

Trainees should have a PhD in the neuroscience or related field with a strong research background and desire to work in academia. Eligible clinical PhDs (clinical neuropsychology preferred) may participate in supervised clinical neuropsychological assessment at Boston Medical Center under the supervision of licensed and/or board-certified clinical neuropsychologists (up to 25% time). The integrative clinical and research activities at Boston University and Boston Medical Center will meet the necessary requirements for board certification in clinical neuropsychology.


Required Skills
