The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

MET International is an administrative unit within the Metropolitan College that continues the University's long-standing commitment to international higher education and global engagement. Through strategic alliances with educational partners worldwide, our partnership programs offer industry-leading academic models, as well as access to the Boston University experience exclusively for students from our partner institutions. The Program Manager works within the Student Services team providing administration of student services and the implementation of MET International programs at the Metropolitan College (MET).

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Process undergraduate and graduate certificate student applications and coordinate with MET College admissions board as necessary.
  • Manage student records in university-wide system.
  • Support students' self-registration by auditing enrollments to ensure compliance.
  • Track and follow up on the issuance of new I-20s and I-20s extensions.
  • Manage the internship program from scheduling workshops, collecting paperwork, registration, and grade assignment.
  • Provide advising & student counseling as appropriate as well as referrals to on campus resources as needed. 
  • Provide partner support and continued engagement to ensure optimal relationship that would contribute to sustain and increase enrollments.
  • Conduct orientations, virtual and in person outreach initiatives such as information sessions, and pre-arrival webinars. 

Required Skills

COVER LETTER MUST BE INCLUDED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.

  • B.A./B.S., or equivalent, 2-3 years of relevant experience in academic program administration.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines simultaneously, attention to detail, excellent organizational, time management, written/verbal communication skills and a high level of comfort in public speaking.
  • Must be a dedicated, independent, and innovative team player.
  • Must be able to travel internationally 1-2 times a year.
