The Kilachand Administrative Assistant provides front-desk reception for the Kilachand office suite including answering the main phone line, greeting students guests, and managing the Kilachand Honors College general email box.
This position will also provide general administrative support to the Kilachand office by way of scheduling team meetings, maintaining an inventory of necessary supplies, and keeping an orderly, organized, and welcoming space. This may include the creation and implementation of new reception and administrative processes as needed.
This position will provide direct administrative support to the Kilachand Directors (i.e., Director, Associate Directors, and Assistant Directors), Assistant Director of Operations and Finance, and Kilachand Student Advising Team. Specific tasks include maintaining calendars, booking appointments, tracking event attendance, submitting catering orders, distributing and collecting syllabi and course evaluations, responding to basic phone and email inquiries, supporting the Keystone Project process, and other tasks, as assigned.
Required Skills
Applicant must be proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft and MAC operating systems. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and comfort dealing with sensitive information. Only applications that include a cover letter will be considered.
