The primary purpose of this position is to plan, implement and evaluate the marketing and communication strategies aligned with the College's mission and strategic plan; and to manage and coordinate the internal and external communications for the College across the three administrative offices (Deans Office, Student Services, Center for Interdisciplinary Teaching & Learning).
This position's responsibilities include the following functions:
- developing website and social media content;
- strategic planning and branding;
- external marketing materials and publications development;
- management of newsletters;
- internal communications and materials development;
- management and administrative duties;
- management of the College's website;
- and public relations and special events.
In this capacity, this position works closely with the CGS deans, faculty, staff, students, parents, and alumni; and with departments across campus to ensure the quality and efficacy of the Colleges internal and public presence.
Skills and qualifications include strong project management, writing, and communication skills; experience with graphic design and using AdobeSuite, including InDesign and Photoshop; experience with photography and video production; and experience managing a website and social media channels.

- Bachelor's degree
- Communications, public/media relations, or marketing preferred.
- Superior writing, editing, and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of website editing (e.g., WordPress), video filming & editing, industry standard graphic design software, (e.g., Adobe Creative Suites), digital editing, social media, (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Snap Chat, You Tube, etc.), and Microsoft Office.
- Strong project management skills, including well- developed interpersonal skills and strong organizational skills.
- Must be a detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to multi-task and follow through on tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Three to five years of related experience required.
