The Lab of Professor Steve Ramirez is looking for a Research Technician to join the project. The primary responsibility of the position is to support and preform experiments in mouse models aimed at determining how neural dynamics responsible for motivation, movement, and learning are expressed in health and impacted in Parkinsons Disease.
Duties will include conducting stereotaxic viral injection and micro-array implant surgeries on mice, managing mouse colonies, and analyzing and collecting imaging data from behaving mice.
Applicants are required to have some relevant prior experience in a neuroscience or biology laboratory working with rodents.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's required
- Master's preferred
- 1-3 Years of Experience in biology and/or neuroscience preferred
