Role Summary

The SIOP Leader is responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end integrated business planning process, aligning demand, supply, inventory, and financial plans to support strategic business objectives. This role serves as the central connector between commercial, operations, and finance functions, driving a single, consensus-based operating plan.

 

Key Responsibilities

Process Leadership

       Own and facilitate the monthly SIOP cycle, including demand review, supply review, pre-SIOP, and executive SIOP meetings.

       Develop and continuously improve SIOP processes, tools, and governance frameworks.

       Drive adoption and discipline of the SIOP process across all participating functions.

Demand & Supply Integration

       Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to develop an unconstrained demand plan.

       Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Procurement to build a viable supply response.

       Identify and escalate gaps between demand and supply, facilitating resolution and trade-off decisions.

Inventory & Financial Alignment

       Establish inventory targets aligned with service level goals and working capital objectives.

       Translate the operating plan into financial projections and reconcile with the financial forecast.

       Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process with SIOP-derived data and insights.

Cross-Functional Leadership

       Lead and influence senior stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Procurement.

       Build a culture of accountability, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.

       Develop and mentor SIOP team members and functional planning leads.

Metrics & Performance

       Define and track key SIOP KPIs: forecast accuracy, bias, inventory turns, on-time delivery, plan adherence, and fill rate.

       Present insights and recommendations to executive leadership on a regular cadence.

       Drive root cause analysis on planning misses and implement corrective actions.

 

Required Qualifications

       Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.

       8+ years of experience in supply chain planning, operations, or integrated business planning.

       Demonstrated experience leading or managing an SIOP/S&OP process in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

       Strong proficiency in ERP/planning systems (SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, o9, or similar).

       Excellent facilitation, communication, and executive presentation skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

       APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.

       Experience in a multi-site, global, or highly complex supply chain environment.

       Lean / Six Sigma background or continuous improvement experience.

       Proficiency in data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel advanced modeling).
