To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:
· Perform extensive die maintenance such as rebuilding die sections, retrimming pads and forms and engineering changes on all types of dies.
· Set up and operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machine, Blanchard and surface grinder to machine parts and verify conformance of machined parts to specifications.
· Lift machine parts and positions and secures parts on the surface place or work table.
· Smooth flat and contoured surfaces to fit and assemble parts together into assemblies and mechanisms.
This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Lebanon team and reports to the Tool and Die Supervisor.
Required experience:
- ·Perform all duties and operates machinery & equipment according to TOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs etc).
- Studies specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts and make repairs.
- Measures, marks, and scribes metal stock for machining.
- Determine specifications for inspection of work, using full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspection before, during and after machining.
- Performs extensive die maintenance such as rebuilding die sections, retrimming pads and forms and engineering changes on all types of dies.
- Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machine, blanchard and surface grinder to machine parts and verify conformance of machined parts to specifications.
· High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience
