JOB/TASK FUNCTIONS:
The following job/task functions have been identified as the core functions of this position. However, the supervisor or manager may assign additional duties associated with this position.
- Sets up dies, fixtures or assemblies assigned to production operators in accordance with MIOSHA standards and company procedures.
- Train other Die Setters / Operators and prioritizes importance of daily task.
- Troubleshoots equipment failures and problems with appropriate personnel.
- Starts machine to obtain first run workpiece and verifies dimensional tolerances.
- Inspects components and assemblies visually for quality defects including scrap marks, rust, burrs, lamination, etc.
- Punctual and regular attendance is required.
- Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical Skills:
Ability to work with the following tools or machinery
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Scales
- Hilo license
Education and/or Experience:
- High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.

This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Operations team and reports to the Operations Supervisor and Manager.
