Primary Responsibilities:

·         Provides direct leadership and supervises hourly skilled trades associates

·         Responsible for performance feedback of all direct reports including mentoring, coaching, counseling and corrective action when situations dictate

·         Responsible for maintenance department safety, quality, production, and delivery objectives in his/her area of responsibility

·         Responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment to support production jobs

·         Responsible for managing the preventive maintenance schedules

·         Coordinate and assess required training and team building

·         Complete individual performance reviews for probationary associates

·         Communicate and prioritize daily work assignments to the team

·         Communicate key information through the daily “shift to shift” communication plan

·         Adherence to all company policies and procedures (ex. PPE, EHS, Quality Policy Manual, Colleague Handbook, Level II procedures, etc.)

·         Ability to interview and help select skilled trade candidates for hire

·         Ability to prioritize downtime repairs, pm’s and project work
