Steel Tube Mill Superintendent - 3rd Shift

• Supervise, coordinate, and prioritize departmental activities to meet customer, plant, and organizational objectives
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
• Maintain accurate records of processes, operational changes, and system updates
• Ensure consistent production of high-quality products in accordance with company standards
• Develop and continually improve operating plans to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure accurate documentation of production output, quality metrics, and timekeeping records
• Recommend and implement improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality
• Establish and monitor departmental goals aligned with overall business objectives
• Enforce and uphold all safety protocols and standards within the department
• Lead and facilitate problem-solving meetings to address both preventative and reactive quality issues
• Prepare, review with leadership, and present corrective action plans to address quality and delivery concerns
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, housekeeping, teamwork, attendance, and administrative processes
• Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership and ethical standards in all areas of responsibility 
• Communicate effectively with large teams and actively participate in daily shift meetings, end-of-shift meetings, and plant-wide meetings
• Demonstrate flexibility by working any shift assigned

This full-time, salary role is a part of our Mills team and reports to the Mills Manager.

Required experience:

• Tube Mill experience required
• 3+ years in a supervisory/management role
• Lean six-sigma and 5s experience preferred
