·         Support the Company’s mission, vision, values and goals in the performance of daily activities.

·         Implements and maintains a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for all equipment PMs, work orders, calibrations, and reactive maintenance work. This includes but is not limited to: sending reminders for outstanding scheduled work, assigning scheduled PMs and creating scheduled vs completion reports, and updating PMs

·         Responsible for working with maintenance staff and departments to update and create PMs, and calibrations based on new equipment, PM findings, downtime events as well as reading across to similar operations

·         Work with maintenance supervisors and other departments to develop projects to improve maintenance efficiencies, meantime to repair, eliminate frequent downtime issues, and improve machine cycle time

·         Creates standardized work plans for routine maintenance activities. These plan will include detailed steps with photos when applicable, estimated times, materials, and costs associated with each task.

·         Responsible for managing all work orders that require planning from start to completion. The planner will be a liaison between the Maintenance Supervisor. Requestor, and Mechanic after a work order has been assigned. This includes hosting all work order review meetings with staff.

·         Studies production and operation schedules and confers with other staff and maintenance supervisors to determine when planned maintenance will least interfere with production operations

·         Plans and manages annual outages for production equipment. This will require the Planner to coordinate all manpower, parts and materials, equipment, and access to the equipment for each day of the scheduled outage. This will be executed thought standardized work procedures year over year.

·         Estimates costs of personnel, parts, and supplies to be used during scheduled maintenance

·         Maintains equipment information and related paperwork to include document retention, equipment library management, asset tracking, hierarchy management, and qualification documents.

·         Tracks the equipment list and updates equipment registry and equipment location moves from line to line and to/from stores

·         Keeps an organized list of equipment and parts in storage that are out of normal maintenance stock (description and picture). Works with maintenance team and MRO to determine if parts or equipment needs to be stock items and creates and follows NIMPF through process. Work with other departments to ensure all necessary spare parts are stocked for new and existing equipment

·         May perform other duties as required.


Required Skills

·         Proven record of effective written and verbal communication skills

·         Minimum of 2 years of experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System required

·         Minimum of 2 years of experience managing Work Order and Preventative Maintenance life cycle

·         Hands on experience with Preventive Maintenance Process Management required

·         Must be able to read and interpret documents and drawings (blueprints)

 

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS & ABILITIES

·         Prior experience building a maintenance library for repairs preferred

·         Intermediate skill level using MS Office - Word and Excel

·         Must be a team player 


Required Experience

·         Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (college or technical school coursework preferred). 

·         Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a maintenance planner/coordinator preferred.

·         Extensive plant maintenance background (5 years’ minimum required)
