Quality Technicians are needed at our Avon, Ohio plant. 

To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to: 

  • Perform first and last piece approvals for production to ensure quality 

  • Perform required quality inspections (hourly, bi-hourly, active inspection) 

  • Conduct gage and fixture studies as required 

  • Monitor, support and assist in product escalation, isolation and containment of defective material 

  • Perform internal sorting activities by daily assignment 

  • Perform basic weld destructs & inspections at required intervals 

  • Create and issue sort and rework instructions to ensure nonconforming product is handled accordingly 

  • Create and issue QC alerts and review with associates and supervisors 

  • Request, issue and maintain deviations by updating logbooks 

  • Create and maintain rework area and ensure work instructions and samples are correct and in place 

  • Ability to work in the various software packages or programs  

  • Assist as required within safe launch and or rework areas  

  • Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor 

 

This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Quality team and reports to the Quality Manager. 

 

Available shifts & pay:  

$21.50 per hour 

 

2nd – 2pm to 10pm ($1.50 shift premium) 

 

 

Required experience: 

  • Education: High school Diploma or equivalent (GED); or one to 3 months prior related experience and / or training: or equivalent combination of education or experience 

  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word 

  • Effective email and electronic communication skills as required, including TEAMS 

  • Certifications/Licenses: FORKLIFT as required or upon request by Quality Manager 

  • Ability to work with micrometers, calipers, scales, or light machinery
