Job Summary
Prepare GD&T drawings, offline CMM programs & roadmaps for various stamping and assembly parts.
Qualification & required skills
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience required.
• 0-1 years’ experience in related field of work.
• Experience with CAD software (Catia, UG or SDRC).
• Good knowledge in GD&T and experience in implementation of the same in drawings.
• Experience in offline CMM programs is an advantage
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving skills
• Ability to convey technical detail to a non-technical audience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English speaking. Ability to read and write in English clearly.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
Typical Core Duties
"• Support the Company’s mission, vision, values and goals in performance of daily activities.
• Prepare GD&T drawings in Catia or UG based on the customer requirements.
• Prepare offline CMM programs & roadmaps for various stamping and assembly parts based on the fixture data.
• Take ownership of the work and discuss with team lead, US dimensional engineers, project managers to complete the task
• Has general understanding of vehicle function as related to Tower product in chassis, suspension and body.
• Develop skills in CAD to provide necessary modeling and drawing support.
• Develop basic understanding of the assembly processes used by Tower.
• Strive to exceed the customer’s expectations by offering multiple solutions to resolve issues when possible.
• Accountable for on-time delivery of assigned work.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the work area.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
• Comply with central, state, local and corporate policies, regulations and laws.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
