The Research and Data Analyst will be fully responsible for designing, collecting, analyzing, and submitting data for grants and projects (i.e. SAMHSA grants).
Required Education:
- Bachelors degree in Psychology, Accounting, Business, or research-related field highly desired.
Required Experience:
- Experience conducting research, data entry, and analysis.
- Experience in the mental health field highly desirable.
- Familiarity with APU student service programs highly desirable.
Primary Duties/Essential Functions:
- Data entry and reporting must align with funder expectations and funder data entry engines.
- Duties include supporting the SAMHSA National Child Traumatic Stress Initiative grant. This includes researching and developing a data collection system, tracking training and service numbers and outcomes, developing and disseminating needs assessments, information sharing, and entering timely project outcomes on SAMHSA’s Performance Accountability and Reporting System.
- The analyst will be responsible for collecting and recording university-wide and client participant data, with adherence to confidentiality and HIPAA expectations.

- Sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment.
- Speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate in person or over the telephone.
Visual Demands:
- Reading, writing notes, and computer monitor.
- Visual acuity to read words and numbers.
Environment:
- Pleasant office, comfortable temperatures.
- Multiple conversations and transactions occurring simultaneously.
Technologies:
- Proficient in Google Apps., Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Comfortable learning about and utilizing data entry portals.
Compensation:
- Grade 10: $25.94 to $29.83 is the hourly compensation for this role and reflects what Azusa Pacific University reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on the qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to compensation, APU offers a competitive benefits package.
