Position Summary
This Field Training Intern will report directly to the Sr. Technical Training Specialist.
Projects may make use of skills including using state-of-the-art training equipment, to develop online training products for both initial and ongoing training requirements, assist in conducting live technical training, both for field and in-house, assist in the development of new training standards and programs, helping to make training videos and other training materials, assist in developing relevant LMS procedures, work instructions, guidelines and process documentation in support of technical training.
Training to be Provided
Students will be exposed to working with various operations and product support departments within Bracco Medical Technologies (BMT). They will learn key requirements that need to be followed in a regulated environment such as the medical device industry. Training may cover relevant aspects of medical device development procedures, along with more specific aspects related to BMT products.
Additionally, our co-ops benefit from a buddy program, career development programming, and opportunities to build their professional networks virtually and in-person with BMT professionals.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Current sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a Business, HR, Instructional Design, Communication Studies or related degree
- Has a strong interest in the medical device industry
- Moderate to high level of computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Preferred:
- Biomedical engineering or engineering minor/coursework or other engineering experience preferred but not required
Job Location
- Eden Prairie, Minnesota (no relocation or housing assistance available)
Term/Hours
- Spring 2024 start through end of summer OR Summer 2024 start through end of fall semester
- Hours: 40 hours/week
