The Network Operations Project Manager provides overall task order management and coordination across all DLA LAN regions. Acts as the primary interface with the Government, ensuring contract deliverables, performance, and communication. Serves as the project manager for a large, complex task order (or a group of task orders affecting the same system) and shall assist the Government’s Program Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives. Under the guidance of the Govt Program Manager, the Network Operations Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s), in addition to reviewing and approving technical solutions and developing effective schedules for the program.
Required Skills
- Experience: 5 years DLA LAN or WAN support and project management; DoD experience preferred.
- Education: BS/BA or 4 years additional relevant experience.
- Certifications: PMP (or equivalent), 8570 IAT Level II, and CE certification (e.g., BPIPA, CCDA, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CCSE, etc.)
- Security: Secret clearance, IT-I level
- Key Duties: Manage daily operations, schedules, personnel, deliverables; coordinate with LAN Leads and DLA stakeholders; oversee reports and IPR briefings.
