Smartronix, Inc., is an information technology and engineering solutions provider specializing in Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Health IT, Network Operations, and Mission-Focused Engineering. Smartronix, Inc. has an opening for a Project Manager. The candidate will provide support to a government engineering division located, NAWCAD, St. Inigoes, Md.
Candidate will work as part of an integrated team. The Project Manager will engage in all activities including but not limited to: budget development, budget execution, and budget tracking, and the development of and tracking of material procurements. The candidate will participates as needed in interviewing, hiring, and training of employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. This position requires on-site work in St. Inigoes, MD.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Analyzes new and complex project related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
Prepares long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities and for necessary support resources.
Oversees all aspects of projects.
Acts as the lead, manager and administrator for the contracted effort.
Serves as the primary interface and point of contact with Government customer on program/project issues.
Oversees contractor personnel program/project operations by developing procedures, planning and directing execution of the technical, programming, maintenance and administrative support effort and monitoring and reporting progress.
Manages acquisition and employment of program/project resources and controls financial and administrative aspects of the program/project with respect to contract requirements.

Experience with DoD Networks and/or computer systems is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in a field of Information Technology, or Business Administration discipline and 3 years experience in management and supervision.
Associate's degree in a field of Information Technology, or Business Administration discipline and 5 years experience in management and supervision.
High School diploma with experience in a field of Information Technology, or Business Administration discipline and 7 years experience in management and supervision.
