The Petree College of Arts and Sciences at Oklahoma City University is made up of 4 schools:

- Adult Degree Completion Program
- Wimberly School of Religion
These schools together offer Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in over sixty majors and provide a large portion of the courses that are required in the undergraduate general education curriculum. In addition, the departments offer Master of Arts, Master of Fine Arts, Master of Education, and Master of Science degrees in selected areas. The work requirements for this position include teaching during daytime and some evening hours depending upon the needs of the department and its students. While the majority of time the faculty members will be indoors in classrooms, laboratories, and offices, traveling across the campus between buildings may be required.
