Senior GEOAxIS/IdAM Technical Expert

Duties May Include:

  • Provide cost, schedule and performance reporting and coordination across the NSG for IdAM cyber security capabilities
  • Provide support across the agency to cybersecurity initiatives such as enterprise audit, due to the dependency on the NSG IdAM capabilities
  • Facilitate system lifecycle management to include requirements definition for GEOAxIS based upon NSG consumer needs, agile release coordination and design analysis, and witness Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
  • Coordinate infrastructure requirements and deployments for GEOAxIS across all domains, sites and programs through engagement with multiple infrastructure service providers, transport service providers and software license providers
  • Coordinate integration of all enduring programs and segments across the agency with the enterprise Identity and Access Management (IdAM) capabilities to include Public Key enablement and authentication as well as role-based, course-grained and fine-grained attribute access control and authorization
  • Coordinate the management of authoritative attribute sources, credentials and processes across the NSG on all domains for multiple products and services, to support users without access to certificates or readers, users with name changes, users with new certificates, users with multiple authoritative attribute stores, non-person entity attributes (such as servers), and NSG users whose authoritative attribute sources are unavailable
  • As a key technical advisor, support major milestone reviews and events, engineering review boards and change control boards, including assessing artifacts, delivering feedback to presenters and providing recommendations to the program or project manager
  • Provides technical expertise and analysis on customer needs, analysis of alternatives, requirements, verification and validation testing, implementation, performance, and security.
  • Assist the GEOAxIS program management office with preparation and coordination of cost estimates, delivery orders, task orders, requirements documents, and work statements, as applicable
  • Conducts and documents technical evaluations of agile proposals and provide recommendations to the GEOAxIS program manager
  • Provide transition planning and execution support for systems migrating to the cloud
  • Assist with planning and developing access management solutions for users from the IC, DoD, Federal, State, civil, and local users across multiple domains accessing all NSG applications and data
  • Supports the TII with enterprise cybersecurity initiatives, discussions, forums and provides recommendations and risk mitigation plans. Remains current with the IC, DoD and industry on IdAM cyber security technology solutions and capabilities

Required Skills

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated specialized experience advising an IC or DoD agency in total lifecycle acquisition management
  • Demonstrated specialized experience with IdAM technologies, methodologies, processes and procedures
  • Demonstrated specialized project management experience with IC or DoD IdAM capabilities

Desired Skills:

  • Certified as Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified ITIL for IT Service management
  • Demonstrated specialized experience developing IT roadmaps and project implementation plans
  • Demonstrated specialized project management experience with GEOAxIS program
  • Demonstrated 5 or more years of experience supporting an IC or DoD agency in adopting and transitioning systems and services to cloud environments
  • Demonstrated 3 or more years of experience working with AWS and C2S technologies
  • Demonstrated specialized experience with the delivery of an IT system using Agile delivery techniques
  • Demonstrated specialized experience writing requirements documents, performance work statements, statements of work, or statements of objectives for a contract
  • Demonstrated specialized experience conducting and documenting technical evaluations of contractor proposals
  • Demonstrated 5 year or more of experience working with the IC IAA working groups

Required Experience

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or Information Technology; or equivalent work experience in Information Technology
  • 12 years of total experience; 8 of those should be specialized

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance Required
